I stopped by Tips Hardware in West Creek today for the first time. Very nice selection of new and used handguns and long guns. I was particularly impressed by the amount of accesories they had. I bought a few things that have been bouncing around in the back of my mind. If I am impressed by a shop and treated well, I will spend money.

 

The salesman at counter was helpful and said that Tips is moving to a new location out on Rt. 539 by the parkway that will include indoor pistol and rifle ranges. So far, no restrictions are planned for the rifle range. He added that the gun section of the new shop will be as big as the current gun/fish/archery section. SWEET! They have yet to break ground, so it will be a while before they are up and running, but something to look forward to.

 

I have a membership to one of the Lakewood ranges, but having another place to shoot is always a good thing. And, 539 right off the GSP is perfect. If the facilities are great, I would be willing to drive the extra 5 miles to Tuckerton vs. Lakewood. btw, I am so annoyed by the limited interchanges for the GSP in Brick. 539 is a proper 2 on and 2 off interchange.

 

I have thought that the Southern Ocean/Northern Atlantic area should have an indoor range. And, just imagine the business they will get come Decoy and Gunning Show time!!!

Great info!! Tips is a great store! I have bought a few pistols and long guns from them. They have a great selection and prices are usually on point. Thanks for the write up!
