Anyone do hot blue?

Looking to hot blue 2 pistols, anyone know of a somewhat local smith that will dis-assemble, polish, hot blue, and re-assemble a pistol? What price?

 

I found a few places, but im not going to spend $190 bucks to reblue $200 pistols, with $50 of shipping each way

Try Paterson Gunsmithing. I had spoken to him about bluing and he said he could do it.

Just hope it's the owner who does it and doesn't assign it to one of his assistants. There's a thread here complaining about the assistant.

Call George Carell in PA, he is right on exit 4 on 80 West. Here is info: 1115 Sunset Dr, Bangor, PA 18013 - (610) 588-0199, he'll do rust blue, hot blue, etc., etc. He has built couple guns for me and his prices are excellent.

Hey Brother,

George is my FFL and is all set up to do the hot bluing. As a matter of fact, he's got one of my shotguns right now...
