Sig Guys....what are your preferences

QRT all the way the quick reset trigger on my friends 226 is absolutely breathtaking

I've talked with Gerry (believe thats how he spells his name) and he sounds like a good guy. He has a lot of fans for his QRT, plus he is close by in VA.

fancy name for their trigger that has a amazingly quick reset or short amount or travel before it "resets" for another squeeze. my friends p226 blackwater edition's trigger feels just like a nice kimber i shot, crisp break super short travel to resets and nice and consistent performance. now dependent on model if a trigger is da/sa its a little harder to produce sao kimber like results but the qrt came pretty damn close if not spot on

Great pistol except for grip size. My hands are small to medium and the double stacks are a stretch for me.

I found that the Sig aluminum grips work great for small to medium hands. Better even that the polymer grips that come as OE. I have them on both my 226 and my 229. Problem is that they are no longer available from Sig. Sig has swithched to Hogue aluminums that have slightly different ergonomics. If you look around you can probably find a set in the Sig Forum classifieds or on Ebay. They are spendy, but worth it. If you are close to me, you're welcome to check mine out to see how you like them before you make the investment.

Adios,

Pizza Bob

The 229 was built around the .40 s&w caliber. Great gun and great caliber.

The QRT is quick reset trigger and is done by Gerry in VA. I forgot his business name. Great guy and is a wealth of knowledge.
