kenw 293 Posted June 6, 2011 The Stoeger shot itself apart on Sunday. The forend came off in 2 pieces, the 2 screws on the end stripped out of the wood, and the screw in the middle just sheared off completely. I sent a message through their CS contact form this morning, and as of now, still haven't even received a confirmation that they got it. Does anyone have any experience with their CS? I'd like to know if I'm gonna get jerked off, or if they'll stand behind their product. This gives me a reason to get friendly with Godzilla again. jruch87 6 Posted June 6, 2011 I had a double defense that would only fire from one barrel. Took it back to bob's little sport shop where I had bought it, test fired it in their range, same problem they sent it back to stoeger. Got it back a few weeks later with a note saying they test fired it and couldn't find any problem. Took it back out to the range at bob's first 2 rounds fired at the same time after that it would only fire off the same barrel as before. Needless to say I no longer own that gun. Other than the fact they said nothing was wrong with it they had a quick turn around and had no problem taking a look even though I bought it used. crazyboy 13 Posted June 6, 2011 No problems, and they were courteous.
Malsua 1,422 Posted June 6, 2011 The Stoeger shot itself apart on Sunday. Yeah, but did you get the clay? For what it's worth, I've found that companies that existed before email/web existed still haven't figured out that people like to get some confirmation that something is happening. Interesting story, how did you sell it and did the buyer fix the issue?

Ray Ray 3,566 Posted June 10, 2011 Bob's took the gun back and credited the money to the Kimber I was waiting on a permit Oh okay, i wonder if they fixed it or just sent it back. Alot of times if firearms makers get returns from FFL's they look more closely at thier mistakes.
