Two teams of two shooters each shoot at two stakes of 2 x 4 lumber at ten yards from the shooters. The first team to shoot their stake in two wins.

I should be there as well. Hoping my mags for my EAA Elite Limited in .40 comes by Friday! If not, oh well, I'll try to cut wood with a 9mm.

what gear are you guys coming with? my options are my sw 625 in 45 acp 6 round moonclips or a sig 226 with 2 15 round mags or .22 sig 1 10 round mag

If my mags come in, an EAA Elite Limited in .40 or a CZ SP01 Phantom in 9mm with 5 mags.

I don't know much about this type of match since this is my first as well but I believe you are short of at least 3 more mags for your 226. I was told to bring at least 300 rds if you want to compete longer. Just in case you want to try USPSA in the future, the 226 will be great for the production division so it may not hurt to have more mags.

yeah i intend to have more mags and in a pinch i could maybe borrow a few 10 rounders from a friend which is a great idea lol

Load your clips to capacity and go at it.

IMHO, 45acp Semi Wad Cutters are the BEST for wood.

That is what we used in the video above.

We tried 40s&w, and 9mm major and we were successful, but our times were slower compared to the 45acp swc

The match starts around 9am but you can show up anytime you want.

awesome im borrowing mags from my friend and since its either a semi 9 or a 45 revovler with 5 moon clips that will take me the rest of the afternoon to reset ill go with the 9

 

also 9 does one hell of a job shooting out target frames :sorry:
