Old School 611 Posted December 22, 2011 Does it have a grooved reciever? If so they have 3/8" dovetail to Weaver conversion mounts.
muzzelloader69 9 Posted December 22, 2011 no , it does not have a grooved receiver , when you open the bolt handle, the path of the handle does not come back towards you like ,uh lets say a remington model 700 where it's slides back on the side , this handle slides back on the top where a scope mount would go. i probably would need some kind of side mount. Parker 213 Posted December 22, 2011 On the M10, M100, M100G models, some have a grooved receiver, some may not based upon age. Here is one with a grooved receiver. This is the 3/8" dovetail Old School is referring to:
muzzelloader69 9 Posted December 22, 2011 it's just like that but older , mine is a 1944 year model. but i'm gonna scrap this ideal because i 'm gonna get a remington youth 514 model at dick's for $99. that's drilled and taped for a base already. since i got a scope laying around , it' doesn't pay to modify the older gun. thanks for all the help fellows.
