Thanks for posting! Interesting! I wonder what effect a wetting agent would have on the bounce of the droplets?

 

High Speed Photos can do a lot. I have the Book on the Challenger Incident. I handled a similar camera (Hulcher, high speed medium format) once a while ago. Interesting story.

Water drops can be really beautiful...(nice shot above btw). I remember watching that show when it aired...I was impressed...

 

I have (somewhere) a shot of a water droplet 'exploding' on a knife blade made of rustproof H1 steel. It takes a hell of a lot of frames to get the shot you want. Having a camera capable of capturing 8+ frames per second does really help...it just has to be properly lit as well...
