I don't have any first hand experience with it on the range.

 

A few years ago, I had handled one at the old Harry's, and was messing with the safety when the lever fell out and the spring shot across the counter.. the salesman said "Oh, yeah.. they always do that".. I put it down and said no thank you.

 

Maybe they upgraded it by now?
