How to ship a handgun back to manufacturer?

I have to ship a handgun back to the manufacturer and they don't provide shipping, Called my local FFL about shipping, these nuts wanted $75. Anyone know of cheaper ways to ship, fedex and UPS both are in the $50 to $80 range which is crazy?

you can only ship UPS or Fedex, a ffl can ship USPS which is about 1/2 the cost.

Find another FFL that is willing to ship via USPS for a reasonable service fee + actual SHI. Still won't be cheap, but probably cheaper than UPS or FedEx.

Check with True Value in Lincoln Park for an FFL . Bruce is always very fair and reasonable.

Any manufacturer I have bought from has payed for shipping back to them. Next time buy from a known manufacturer and you won't have any problem!

Definitely find another FFL, it'll work out to be less even if they charge 40-50 bucks.

Which is why I'll never by another firearm from the nitwits at Taurus. Had my 1911 only a few months before the extractor broke. They refused to do anything for me re: return shipping, which wound up costing me $65, IIRC.

 

They are absolutely tone deaf when it comes to customer service and won't be getting a dime out of my handgun budget in the future.
