Selling an old pistol that has no identification, numbers, etc...

I'm in the process of acquiring my fathers collection and came across these old "pin fired" pistols. Any idea how to transfer ownership?

 

There are no numbers, no mfg stamp, nada, zilch.

Nah, he's looking to sell everything, and aside from an old Zabala 12ga side by side there is nothing I really want out of the collection.

Yeah - put NSN in the serial number place on the pistol permit (ie No Serial Number). 100% legal.

This is correct. IIRC the old 2A statutes in NJ (prior to about 1980) treated something like this as an antique if made before 1898. 2C treats all firearms the same whether its an authentic British Brown Bess or a new AR.

 

In most states this wouldn't be considered a firearm if made before 1898.
