870 super mag help

Hey all so I finally got to put some shells in my super mag I bought Off someone on here. Everything was great except the fact I had to shoot each shell one at a time. Shells won't feed out of the mag tube at all when I rack the action. I thin the shell stops are not releasing. Anyone know how to fix this or have an opinion on what the issue could be?

 

Unrelated question does anyone make a super mag capable forearm? Looking to mount a light to it

Thanks! I was planning on getting an extended shell tube as well so ill just get that first

Had a similar problem on one of my 870's. The shell latch was too far out. I disassembled the receiver and removed the latch. It is staked in but comes out easily. I simply bent the latch back slightly and problem solved.

 

Don't go hog wild, just a little at a time. You can buy a staking tool to re-stake it but I didn't bother and have had no issues.

I was thinking about trying to shave alittle off or bend it because it does move slightly if I look at it when I cycle the action but I'm not sure what the normal amount of movement should be
