5 Stand

Have you ever shot 5 Stand? How does it work? I've seen it magazines but never in person.

It is like Sporting Clays for clubs that don't have much room. Each of the 5 stands will have their own pair of unique clay presentations. So instead of moving from hole to hole, like on a Golf or Sporting clays course, you move from stand to stand and shoot over the same physical area. The differences between the stands is that different throwers will be used when shooting from different stands.

Do you know of any places in the Central Jersey area that offer 5 stand? I would like to try it. Oh, and thatks for the info.

Clay Targets Online is a great resource to find places to shoot trap, skeet, 5 stand and sporting clays.

There are five NSCA ranges to shoot in New Jersey that also host tournaments:
