Someone wants to trade me a Young American double action revolver for 250rds of my 147gr super unleaded nickel cased flat nose Winchester 9mm.

Is this an alright trade? I've never heard of the gun. He said its from the 1930's and won't require a P2P.

He may also throw in a 1ounce .999 silver bar.

I'm a shooter not a collector, the gun is worthless to me unless I can shoot it...

If anyone has an suggestions please let me know.

I could be totally wrong, but i think if its from the 30's you still need a permit.

 

I looked at a vintage 1911 from earlier than that and was told i still needed the permit.

Thanks guys, I'll let him know I still need a permit and have none pulled. That makes my decision a little easier.

I just let him know I won't trade for the pistol.
