Springfield XDs (full didclosure, proud "parent" :-)).

Glock G36

Kahr PM45

Taurus PT 745

 

They ranked as shown above at completion of the "shootout".

 

The XDs won in all catoagories except "ease of reload" (which was taked 1st by the Glock)....There were about 10 or so parameters which they evaluated including accuracy.

 

Good read if you are in the market...I've posted a couple of times how fine a pistol the XDs is - so I am glad the 4 shooters that did the shootout confirmed my gut feeling (I've never shot any other subcompact)...

 

If you personally are not happy with the results, don't blame me - I am just a "researcher" (and shooter) ;-).

That would be a good research project for you - get the last 6 issues and tabulate the SA ads vs the other 3 ;-)....Seriously, the XDs is an ecellent pistol...Two of us here at least coroborated...BTW, I gave up reading sailing magazines cause they never po-poed any of the boats they evaluated :-)...Like I said, I am just a researcher - and not responsible for the conspiracies (in fact, or theories as the case may be ;-)).
