Ok folks, having gun manufacturers boycott state goverments is one thing, but state governments already have plenty of firearms. If ammo manufacturers would boycott state governments, that would be a different story, since ammo requires replenishment, that I think would have a greater impact impact.

I just sent an email to remington and hornady, and will send a similar email to other ammo manufacturers. I ofcourse substituted remington with hornady in the hornady email

 

" I am an avid shooter and spend thousands of dollars each year on remington ammo. NY has already put into law certain anti gun laws and other states, such as NJ are contemplating similar actions, as well as the federal government. A hand full of gun manufaturers have already pledged to stop selling firearms to the NY state government, this includes law inforcement, however I believe that more needs to be done. Stopping the sale of firearms to state governments will only go so far since they already have many firearms. What really needs to be done is to stop the sale of items that require regular replenishment.

As a gun owner, avid shooter, and a contributor to your bottom line, I ask that you follow in other gun manufacturers foot step and stop selling ammo to state governments that trample over our 2A rights."

 

If everyone starts contacting ammo manufacturers, we might just make a difference.

A company can sell a dozen cases to a store that may or may not reorder in a week or two and pay shipping for each case via common carriers.

 

A company can sell ten pallets to a state agency and save on bulk shipping with a sale four times a year.

 

From a financial and business perspective, I am not turning my back on any sale.

It doesn't hurt to try, nothing can be lost by by requesting them to boycott state governments, but a lot can be gained.
