Walther PPQ

I am considering getting the .40 cal walther PPQ. Does anyone have any feed back on it? I've watched a bunch of YouTube reviews etc etc and nobody seems to have anything bad to say about it, although everyone seems to have the 9mm version.

quite heavy recoil, the small polymer frame does not take it well.

 

If you want a plastic 40 cal, get an M&P, a Sig SP2044 or Glock 35

Agree with Maksim, the PPQ is much better in 9mm.

 

Take a look on the WaltherForums and there are many comments on PPQ in .40 vs 9mm

I've got both, 9mm and 40. I don't find the 40 uncomfortable to shoot at all, obviously the 9 is less, but I enjoy shooting the 40 just as much

I'm a new shooter and find the 9mm(my first hand gun) quite easy to handle, and extremely reliable. Unfortunately I can't help with the 40cal comments and I don't know of anywhere that rents them. Most seem to refer to the .40 as being a snappy round in general, how it feels in ones hands will be pretty unique to the individual

If you are concerned about recoil but are interested in a .40 polymer, take a look at the Ruger SR 40. Mine recoils less than 9mms I have owned. The trigger is great and you can't beat the price.
