Guns I have come across the past week. Opinions please.

For a revolver , stick with the Ruger! Good quality and you will get your money back if you ever decide to sell it. I have a few friends that bought Taurus revolvers and were sorry they bought them.The GP100 and the SP101 are great choices, if your looking for something more concsealable the LCR is a sweet little revolver.

 

As far as Semi's go, the M&P's & Glocks are nice but you can't beat a Sig. If price is a factor you should look at the Sig 2022. It is very similar to the 229 but with a polymer frame & much less expensive and just as accurate. They can be had for about $450 or so. Then XD from Springfield is also a very nice pistol and very reliable. Good luck with your new addiction!!!
