AIM products any good?

I am VERY new to optics and such. Just browsing eBay and came across AIM scopes a few times. Looking at this one... Any thoughts?

Eh I dunno, maybe on a .22

I'm not optics snob by any means but $100 or a microdot and scope? I personally wouldn't do it.

 

 

For a value optic I'd steer towards primary arms. customer service is top notch and they are decent products.

I wouldn't bother with AIM stuff, it's cheap Chinese knock offs, Wouldn't hold zero on a 22 after like 30 rounds.

Their mounts and other accessories are built well. Their optics are HORRIBLE. I returned more than half of them. I will never get another to sell again.

Excellent. Thanks for all the feedback. Pretty much what I was concerned about.

Got an Aim Sports 4x32 Illuminated with the rifle. After a few sessions, the reticle shifted counterclockwise. Sent back to them and they replaced it under warranty with a newer model containing the fiber optic top sight instead of the rail. Sighted it in at RTSP and was able to put 5 rounds in a 1" square at 25 yards with a bipod and hit an 8" square steel target at 100 yards with 2 shots in 8 seconds from standing to prone. Given the issue with the first scope, the jury is still out deliberating.

I saw quite a few AIM products at the show over the weekend. The cheap prices scared me.
