Armalite a10 ejection prob

When shooting lake city m118 lr 308 the brass keeps getting stuck in ejection port. Anybody having a problem like this. I cant figure out? Thanks

Sounds like its to much gas for the AR10. Most 308 semi's do not do well on a steady diet of that ammo. The KAC SR25 is built specifically to withstand it.

So what, should i stay away from 7.62?

No, just the lake city m118 lr 308. If you have a 308 bolt gun, this would be considered match ammo for it.

What buffer do you have in your AR10? Other things it could be is all the usual things like extractor springs etc etc

It seems to shoot hornady otm well. And i tried some hornady tactical application police 155 and 168. It all worked fine. It prob is ammo. Next time im at range l try a little of each alternating and see what happens. Thanks. As far as buffer its a 1 year old factory gun. Omly about 150? Rds through. Mechanical would suprise me. Like a new gun.

It sounds like the ammo to me but I didnt want to skip over other possibilities. But since other types work fine, it implies it is the ammo and enhances my theory of over gassing. The reaon I ask about the rifle is because sometimes an overgassing condition can be aided by a heavier buffer.

So i went to range. Hornady otm runs good. Hornady TAP lo ammo works good. 308 corelokt. Good. 7.62 winchester good.

7.62 magtech. That cdc or whatever in 50 rd box. NOT GOOD.

And lake city m118lr. Not good.

Both magtech and m118 lr stick on ejection.

What does the rim of the brass on the ammo with issues look like? Any signs of the extractor on the brass?
