NJKen 23 Posted November 25, 2013 Any powder for $15 per pound is worth buying. All the ones I use have been in the $20 range for over a year now. It pays to shop around. I have seen some over $30. FWIW, I use 9 different powders from 2 manufactures Ken.
Heavyopp 167 Posted November 25, 2013 I've tailored my handgun loads to all use 1 powder -- Promo -- 38 special, 38 super, 9mm, and .45acp all use CCI primers and Promo as the powder -- Promo gets loaded with the same data as Red Dot -- Costs $79 per 8 pound jug -- I have a few different books with red dot data for all those calibers
