I just picked up the C5L-R because I don't intend on using it in the daylight and I don't like the idea of a bad guy potentially being able to trace the laser back to me in the dark if I ever needed to use it for home defense.

That said, if paid by Amex, those combos may cost you $175 and $85 respectively after statement credit.

Another good point is that if you happen to have more than 1 Amex card (like 1 own card + 1 authorized card for a spouse), you can actually register ALL your Amex cards and get $25 statement credits on ALL of them.

 

P.S. This is a kind of thing I monitor a lot (i.e. card promos, bonuses etc) and this one is really cool. I haven't seen such a generous one for existing users for a while... Sorry if it's completely off topic.

That's a damned good price.  Wonder if it can be set up w. a tape switch or hardwired some other way for use on a long gun.
