Given the general liberal bias of Jeff Bezos' Washington Post, I was really surprised to find this article there...

While negating this factoid is all over the conservative press' sites, the fact that this was headlined in the WP was a shocker. Yes, there is still the almost subliminal anti-gun bias (and some not so subliminal) this would have been the last thing I would have expected of them. Maybe they are trying to repair their credibility?

Agreed. The NJ.com article originally quoted the same bogus facts from a parrot article on CNBC. Then someone posted up the Amazon Post article in the comments section, and this morning the NJ.com lead paragraph was CHANGED. Still of course arguing for gun control, but with slightly less bogus facts.
