njJoniGuy 2,131 Posted July 4, 2018 The politicians in Trenton have gotten so good at passing the buck over the past the past 60 or so years, that they've really been able to outdo themselves this time. By unanimous votes of 34-0 in the Senate and 74-0 in the Assembly, they have let themselves off the hook. The NJ State Reptile is no longer the New Jersey State Legislator. They have named the Bog Turtle as their replacement. Please read all the WHEREAS's in the new law that justifies this change. I wonder how the Boards of Election will handle this new change when the next statewide elections come around. Are Bog Turtles even eligible to hold public office? Do they have to be more intelligent than their predecessors? I sure hope so, because the last batch are sure a bunch of ignorant anal orifices. Read the new law (P.L. 2018, CHAPTER 41, approved June 18, 2018) here .

brucin 923 Posted July 4, 2018 The new state reptile was elected to the governorship in November, at least that's the way I see it.
