FFL shipment question

Can an FFL receive shipment of a firearm that is sold with a more-than-10 round magazine (SO SCARY!) and then pin it? Or disassemble it? If it’s disassembled, is it considered firearm parts or still a magazine? Thanks in advance.

I have no idea. I’ve only ordered stripped lowers so far. Haven’t made my way into handguns yet.

A magazine over 10 rounds cannot be given to you assembled or disassembled. If he is willing to PERMANENTLY modify it to hold 10 rounds or less, you are good to go.

You can also let him keep the 15 and order you a factory 10.
