Clay thrower

Just wanted to start a thread! I am very excited as i just got a hold of a clay thrower second hand for a great price. I'm looking forward to testing it out on the range soon. Who here owns, knows a friend, who has one of these?

Depends on what type you have ? Mine is a Trius, you sit on it, has a little folding chair on the back, works quite nicely.

After seeing some throwers in action and doing some research I purchased a Champion Easy Bird thrower with an oscillating base and cart. When We go trap shooting we usually shoot 3-4 cases and the machine functions without a hitch. I have a wobbler on order and currently I am installing a 12 volt transformer so I can plug it in at the range (this way I don'y have to transport a heavy battery if electric is available).

I have one that I bought used on eBay about 2 years ago. Haven't even used it yet.

Here's my Manly Clay Thrower. After throwing 20 or 30 for your shooting buddy , your arm hurts so bad you can't shoulder the shotgun.

 

Seriously, I don't really use it, but we did try it many years ago. Works like a charm. You'll just need rotator cuff surgery afterwards.
