Better off joining a local rod and gun club that has a range. My club charges $20 the first year and $15 per year after that. We have a few Jersey guys in our club.

$20?  Which one is that?

I am at East Bangor & Palmerton.  Love Palmerton, only 300 in the area. 

 

But yes, you can.

Private clubs will have their own rules.

For instance at Palmerton, there are members even from NYC.  You just need to show up in person to a meeting to register as a member.

For East Bangor, a very popular club with NJ residents, you can buy a membership at local shops... BUT you do need to show your DL and FID if you are NJ resident.

Then you realize the cost... Most clubs here are $30 a month year or so or less.
