flank 12 Posted August 10, 2016 Just sharing - Dicks Sporting Goods has the Federal 325 automatch 22lr bricks for buy one get one half off. $24.99 for the first and $12.49 for the 2nd making this 5.7cents per round before taxes, pretty good price if you ask me. See weekly circular for all deals http://view.ed4.net/v/XV36NF/3Y393/SV4ORUV/45JRCZ/FORMAT=H?camp=Email:08102016HuntMAINLink:Header_Hosted&mcid=213790016
Ricky_Bobby 130 Posted August 10, 2016 The Blazer Pistol cans are a good price too - 350 rds 9mm for $80 after rebate sounds pretty good
InFamous 311 Posted August 11, 2016 I'll stop by the Rockaway one after work tomorrow to pick up a couple boxes. Any other coupons out that will make it cheaper?
Lambo2936 297 Posted August 11, 2016 I've seen some 20$ off 100$+ ones floating around, not sure if they are valid in store, though, or if you can use it with other offers... or if they are still valid at all. It was on their banner like yesterday or the day before.
Lambo2936 297 Posted August 11, 2016 Cheaper ammo can be had online than the blazer. With taxes, 85$ for 350rds is over 24 cents a round. The prices have been a bit higher lately but new freedommunitions 9mm with a free shipping coupon would be cheaper by quite a bit. Plus, to get that price you have to deal with the rebate BS for 10$. Ricky_Bobby 130 Posted August 11, 2016 ^While I hear you, the extra couple cents a round probably pays for the ammo box they come in (and I'd probably need one anyway) - although thanks for reminding me I have been meaning to try Freedom Munitions out - usually though what kills me with online is shipping, so places that give free shipping promotions are usually where I buy from (I'll make an order from Freedom to get my first coupon order in and get free shipping, thanks for mentioning them!) I'll still pick up one of these cans because I always like to have spares even when the bullets inside are gone (easy to refill) - already have probably 8-10 of these Plano boxes and they are really great for storing ammo -

Please keep in mind freedom uses Xtreme bullets, which are fine but they are plated. Not FMJ.
Lambo2936 297 Posted August 12, 2016 For cheapo range ammo, does it really matter?I've fired probably about 7-800 rounds of freedommunitions ammo. About half was reloaded .223, only had one failure due to a bad crimp where the bullet was loose and got pushed into the casing a bit. The rest is/was new 9mm and .45, both of which were flawless.. and with 10% off and free shipping (big sale plus new member=free shipping), i got a great deal on it so it was much cheaper than the blazer i was shooting before hand. If your solution is cheap, then no. I reload using xtreme.
Darrenf 422 Posted August 12, 2016 got one in the mail a few weeks ago, and yes, it was valid on ammo that was already 'on sale' I went to Dicks last night with that coupon. They said it was not valid on ammo but they would honor it just this one time.

They said it was not valid on ammo but they would honor it just this one time. They need to learn to read. It says not valid on gift cards, and a few other items. Nowhere did it say 'not valid on ammo'. I just used the $10 off $50 certificate I earned with that purchase to buy a case of 12 gauge gun club #7.5's. They were on sale for $5.24 a box ($52.40 a case), and I was out the door, with tax, at $45.37. AND just scored ANOTHER $10 off $50 coupon for providing a review of that transaction! Next will probably be the .22's they have on sale..the guy at the gun counter said tuesdays is when the truck comes in.... Quote MultiQuote
