The only advantage to single-points is that it is easier to transition from Strong hand to Weak hand 2-Pointers are more secure and MUCH more comfortable in movement IMO

Now, Now...can't mention that Toadally Speshul guy..he likes to sue boards that have people who criticize his "Work" But Yes, he was one of the folks I had in mind, as well as that "Other" one that's been in the news lately because of issues with their .50, and who's rep for a studied lack of.QC started with crappy FAL's

Ass Pro has been known to have folks working for them who say things like "What do you need those Assault rifles for, they aren't for hunting" , and for the longest time, basically until Remington started makign AR's in Camo, refused to carry Armalite pattern (Or any other EBR) firearms..they were at least, Very Fuddish..Gander was like that during the federal AWB but has seen the light and embraces Black Rifles now.. Bass pro is and has been primarily fishing-oriented with hunting/shooting as a side thing.

This... Although if i Do see a .44 revolver anytime soon i may snap it up since i have a Ruger .44 Carbine that needs a mate.

If i'm working, i just use a Serpa, or a desantis pancake ive had for years, Concealed I carry it in a Crossbreed Supertuck, and unless you know what you're looking at you can't tell im carrying in just a golf shirt over it....I cant say Enough good about the Crossbreed..it's a little spendy but i havent had another holster that beats it, although my first tuckable (Comp-Tac Minotaur for a 3" Defender) did come close. On the Grips, I love them, they do take a little getting used to, but I wanted something different than the factory rubber (Hogue) grips after 23-odd years. I have a second set for the other Combat Elite, but that one has an Extended Slide Release because of the Optic, and i dont want to chop the grips up, so they're my Spares. About 6 months after I got them one of the Medallion's that also hold the rubber to the wood came loose and I lost it, Pachmayr sent me 4 of them and refused to charge me.

I Like mine( Ultimate Weaponlight Gen-2)...i'd like it BETTER if it came out of the Pic mount..but it's a well built light, and the price pointing was superb.

You ARE aware that Neither Heller OR MCDonald had ANYTHING to do with CCW right? Both cases had to do with all but complete BANS, and neither case addressed anything more than the ability to possess a handgun in your home. Heller DOES apply to NJ, but Heller doesnt have a DAMNED thing to do with CCW.

This.... I came up with half a dozen reversible (With moderate effort) methods to pin an MOE, and in the end it was just simpler to fill the locking pin channel with Epoxy and perm it..it's the length i need it the way it is.

it wasnt a "One-off" type of thing either, h\that was the REAL problem..at least Century eventually started to address those issues unlike some OTHER companies, that just chose to change it's name as problems became known in the community.

This..it's a 1911 NOT a Glock.. That said, do what makes you feel comfortable

John has it correct..it can be MADE NJ compliant...how easily? that all depends on those handguards and how they are attached.

Primary EDC Secondary EDC 3rd Carry (.38 Super) Another .38 Sup quasi-1911..Mustang

stand by. let me check Mine.... Non-ramped. standard-ramp 9mm bbl and you're GTG only difference in the 9mm vs .38 super cases is length, they use the same shellholder for reloading. You MIGHT also have to swap out magazines as well. IIRC the ridge in the 9mm mags is a touch farther back than the .38S mags. If you want to dump the bbl and mags let me know. I happen to really LIKE the caliber, the ballistics are superb IMO. My Carry ammo is Pow-R-Ball

HOW many times is that same stupid "Warning" going to be forwarded and circulated???? -
That was a no brainer..Il had a total ban, which was the basis of the suit. NJ's hangs solely on the "Justifiable Need" which is utterly subjective and arbitrated solely by the Judge. EVERY Appellate division challenge to a rejection on JN grounds has failed, which is why SAF and ANJRPC have the Class-action waiting to be heard on the Federal Level. Right now on Federal District courts we have 2 opposing rulings on Justifiable Need. One Saying hat it is in fact Unconstitutional, and one (NY case) saying that it is NOT Unconstitutional. At this point since the only way to go next is to SCOTUS, SAF and ANJRPC might be better off pulling their suit, depending on the makeup of the Jurisdictional court if they feel that the ruling would go against them. Better to go into SCOTUS on a Tie than 2-1 against our position.

Didnt they have to trash the bbl and rebore the gas port? I remember seeing one of them and it wasnt a Tiny Cant, it was REALLY visible from behind the rear sight

Does donating to local PBA help score 'points'
KpdPipes replied to jgofnj's topic in General Discussion
Thats why the majority of PBAs if not all from the state down have gotten completely away from telemarketers.. That said.. No, it doesnt score you any "points"
