Retailers may have an incentive to liquidate stock of an item that may become illegal to sell. Just speculating, it could be they are just plain having a sale. -

Shipping is killing the deal for me. If someone wants to do a group order and split shipping I'm up for it. Interested in 4 G19 15 rd magazines. -
Who's got the best price on 9mm range ammo now?
DirtyDigz replied to mikeyboyeee's topic in Hot Deal Discussions
Gander mountain *had* a special, UMC 250 round packs for $60, $20 off a $100+ order brought 2 boxes down to $50 each or ~20 cents/round. Not sure if it's still running or not. -
Same concern here, worried about the support hand slipping off while finishing the pump stroke and getting in front of the muzzle. Looks like a forward grip is going to be a necessity.

Happy with my purchase from bulletproofme.com.

I like using HuntingPaper's reloads at IDPA matches. Everyone comes over and asks me "What the hell kind of load are you shooting?" after they see 6 inches of bright orange flame coming out of my little G26.

Not only is it "supreme" and "elite": But it also corrects for bad aim!:

I think a Glock malfunction is only possible if you've already crossed the event horizon of a black hole...

No guilt necessary CSJ, I still think I got a good deal. I'll get together with old school at some point this year and get it sorted out. Tried two different types of ammo - first was some cheapie aguila, then went to federal 550 packs.

My M2 is jealous! Nice!

Cabela's still selling Federal American Eagle for $5.99/box of 20 (there's usually a coupon for free shipping or $20 off $150 order): Link to Cabela's

That is a great price, too bad it's silver instead of black.

Been watching it for a while, very interested. Don't know anything beyond what I've read at their page and on blogs.

No, I don't remember, but I can measure it if you like. It's not the same thickness everywhere; it's thickest over the sternum (armor + carrier + trauma plate) and thin-est at the sides/bottom where the armor doesn't extend so there's only the cloth carrier. More info here: My link

My level IIIA/stab resistant armor rig (front + rear armor, fabric carrier and trauma pad) weighs 5.2 lbs. The armor and trauma pad are easily removable from the fabric carrier and then the carrier can be washed in a washing machine. The armor pieces themselves are covered in a thin tyvek type fabric, so they don't absorb anything.

FLIR is no good for zombies (ambient temp. body heat...) Seriously, FLIR is awesome, check out the videos on youtube. If it's warm, FLIR sees it.

I'd recommend: - without a valid CCW permit - firearms can be transported without limitation to all areas where they are legal (not on school property, not on court property, etc.) Owner must be in the vehicle at all times that they are traveling and they must be unloaded and stored in a locked/fastened container. Ammo must be in a separate container - with a valid CCW permit - firearms can be transported loaded and accessible, but must be not be visible to any observer outside the vehicle. CCW permit holder/owner must be in the vehicle with the firearms at all times that the vehicle is traveling. No restriction on transportation of ammunition, including hollow points, as long as it is not loaded into a firearm or in the same container as a firearm (except for CCW permit holders).
