  1. Nice work Chad. There are plenty of places in your area to fish, I have actually been hitting some of them recently, since I work out that way now.
  2. Nice Catches! Got one of my own on the Delaware last week...was my first Striper ever.
  3. I know someone who makes them at his welding shop, I can find out from him if you want.
  4. Maks I looked at that rifle a few times, unfortunately I dont think I want to purchase one thats been cut up.
  5. At least you got the time of year right...if you're leaving soon. My brother was stationed there for several years, the Humidity was brutal. Yeah, there was no way in hell I was going to go in mid summer. I am leaving tomorrow. NOLA... Go fishing for some poonani on Bourbon St! Beat me to it, I love Southern women. Same, if I happen to find one there is a good chance I will come home long enough to pick up my dog, truck, and firearms and head right back down  I will look into it. Not too sure where my buddy is planning on taking me just yet.
  6. I actually just booked a flight to go see my buddy who is stationed at Ft. Polk, leaving Thursday morning. Any tips? Places to try? Non fishing places to go?
  7. Lunker, if I am not flying down to Louisiana on Sunday Ill go.
  8. Glad you're home and doing okay Chad. Thanks Mark, I just spit coffee everywhere!
  9. Yeah, I thought it was going to be slow but it was really good. There is a lot of potential, and I know Ill be glued to the couch every Sunday evening for a while
  10. Maks if you hear anymore please let us know! Get better soon Chad!
  11. I'm assuming you're talking about Rich. If so yes, he is fantastic. Indeed, Rich did an amazing job with the Chevelle at the beginning of last year. Its about time for his wax again now that I think about it.
  12. If no one does, let me know, I can get you in touch with my buddy who does my Chevelle for me. Probably one of the best in the area, and is located in Robbinsville.
  13. Yeah, there was some JUNK there, but a few nice pieces. If I wanted a WASR there were a bunch priced well. One guy had a rather nice M1G for 500 that I told him I would buy...but when he asked me where I was from and told him Jersey he told me to "take a walk, I wont deal with you or your communist state" Well needless to say, I agree with the statement but I flipped on him. Ended up causing a little scene on purpose, and quite a few people turned away that were looking at his table. Good price on a nice gun, but a jerk of a seller. I did end up picking up some stripper clips for the Mauser and the Mosin, as well as a sling and accessory kit for the Mosin, and an extra mag for my marlin .22
  14. Im leaving Bordentown area around 9:15ish. Two buddies of mine are going, so it depends on them. Unfortunately, I have been ready since about 11pm last night.
  15. Anyone from the Hamilton-ish area going tomorrow?
  16. This is absolutely getting ridiculous. Thanks for the information!
  17. I would like to actually catch a Striper either at the beach on in the Delaware... Before...it was Pike in Vermont, I been there, done that, had a hell of a time. Maybe some Musky next. Once I end back up in Maine, it will be some Musky and large-Small Mouth fishing for me.

  19. It was packed in a spam can sealed, only opened about a month ago and stored in my closet. Probably not the best place, but better than my barn or garage.
  20. Was a good time...I got to put some serious time in today. I had to sight my .22 in, since I have some pesky critters that are wreaking some havoc here on the farm lately...time to put an end to it.
  21. It is a steel case. The primers have always looked fine. It just strikes me as odd that I have shot this ammo quite a bit, and now I have issues. I think I will have someone look over it before I fire it with some brass, I am worried that if it IS the head spacing I honestly would rather avoid the injury.
