  1. That's one crazy f*ck, obviously with too much time on his hands!
  2. That's friggin outrageous imho But market forces rule these days
  3. A little bit of WD-40 removes the labels and the adhesive residue.
  4. Harbor Freight currently has their .30cal size plastic ammo cans on sale for $2.99 The Pennsauken store was stacked deep with them yesterday. If I needed any more than I already have (dozens) I would have bought them. YMMV.
  5. Two for me: -My 20" 870 Wingmaster that has been reconfigured to look like my Shockwave's big brother. (Raptor grip, Magpul forend, saddle Picatinny rail, green laser) -16" AR in A2 config with ACE stock And enough ammo ... -55gr soft point and 62gr penetrator (depending on the target) for the AR -00 Buck for the 870 ...that if I run dry, I was in deeper shit than I thought.
  6. "Bob is dead" But I bet Chris Christie could stop the ball. Just by sheer mass.
  7. Nappen has said that it is legal, as long as you've been issued a FPID card, to have an unloaded long gun on the seat next to you. He even said you could legally wave it out the window. Not recommended, but you could. But with a firearm visible from the outside, you are inviting a stop and roadside interrogation. And the chances are very high that you'll be going for a ride with bracelets on given that most police on the street are not big on roadside negotiations. IMHO out of sight is better than visible.
  8. Given that we cannot carry loaded firearms unless we possess that 'rainbow unicorn' known as a NJ Carry Permit, we are at a severe tactical disadvantage compared with gun owners in 40-some other states, so the best we can legally do is carry an unloaded long gun in our vehicle pretty much everywhere (assuming you've been issued a FPID card) I'm going to quote myself from much earlier in this thread:
  9. And right there we have the internet winning post for the month of November!
  10. Are you interested in competitive rifle (like high power National Match, like I do) or competitive handgun (like IDPA or its cousins)?
  11. You're better off selling it locally. Shipping small arms ammo requires an ORM-D shipper with a non-USPS carrier. Handgun ammo sales requires the buyer to be 21 and have a FID card. Ask to see it when you meet the buyer and be sure it address-matches his drivers license. No paperwork required. And don't sell your home reloads. You are liable when he blows up his gun and puts out an eye with your ammo. And you can't do it as a business without a NJ Retail License and an FFL. Welcome to the Glorious Peoples Republik of New Jerseystan.
  12. The firearm you describe is no different, in the eyes of NJ law, than a .44 magnum Check your local ordinances to see if there is a prohibition in your municipality on the discharge of firearms within the boundaries of the municipality. If no prohibition, then be safe and make a safe range with an adequate backstop. If there is a local prohibition, you're screwed. Do it in the house if you choose to violate the law. And don't tell the neighbors. The Karen next door can't wait to file a complaint and put you through the wringer.
  13. Results from the 1st match of the 2020-21 season are attached
  14. I think he's on an island somewhere in the Pacific making love to a volleyball.
  15. Beat me to it by seconds. Burt died September 6, 2018 in Jupiter, Florida at 82.
  16. As per the match bulletin attached to the first post here (as a pdf) and also taped to the glass door of the sign-in room at the range, the first match for record was Nov 1. The RSO who writes up the flip chart calendar in the sign-in room mis-wrote it as Nov 8. I corrected it on the flip chart last Sunday. The next installment of the Frozen Nutz series is Sunday December 6. Always the FIRST Sunday of the month, thru March 2021. Sign-in for the match begins by 9am, first shot promptly at 10am. Reservations for a spot on the line can be made to me here in this thread, or by emailing Shayne at [email protected]
  17. But unless the fat lady sings OUR song, we're going to have to fight 4 years of tyrannical Executive Orders to maintain our G-d given rights. I personally do not see the shortages or the insane prices easing up any time soon. Vive la résistance
  18. There MUST be some other way to buy it without putting money in Jeff Bezos' pocket. FJB and his WP
  19. I'm surprised he didn't ask for a copy of your Federal Explosives license too!
  20. Bump for a LEGITIMATE seller. Avoid the fraudsters @tello1 and @ethanjordan like the Chinese Plague!
  21. You mean like how the Democrat party, the mainstream media and Big Tech are treating America... In and out, in and out, in and out ... until they're well fucked?
