I'd stay away from Taurus. Lots of issues lately. They even acknowledged it at shot.

bry@n replied to Sell682's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
Motion lights, good alarm, German Shepard and some p30's and an AR depending on situation. -

Glock Shooting competitions.

Old school is correct. The barrel, trigger group, slide and frame must be Glock. -
Glock Shooting competitions.

I disagree. There were 700 shooters at that match. It broke a record and I think you're a little biased. Glock rewards people who show up early. The list always starts at the top. Show up early and you should be done early. On Sunday's it usually dead and getting there late usually would net you the earliest times but that worked against me last time as they had a record turn out. It's a great time and is meant to bring a lot of new shooters into the shooting world. There are lots of master shooters that shoot uspsa and other comps that come. They shoot 5-6 guns in different phases. -
Taxes in Texas are comparable to normal town in NJ. My brother is paying around 6k for 1/4 acre on tx.

Alex, Fort Worth is a nice area. I would consider it. Depending on salaries, you could get by on one for a short while.

Ppq is a nice gun. Great trigger, but I prefer the m1 version. Only issue is parts and stuff are cheaper with Glock.

Good to hear the surgery went well.

Good luck Alex. Delaware isn't that bad of a state. No sales tax, has ccw and houses are cheap.

Jeff, Tony and the other owners are all stand up guys. Great people and all of them are shooters.
-
I liked the area also. My brother built a house in Galvestan county, my family lives on the outskirts of Houston. My wife and I like pearland. Good luck.

Congrats Tony, Jeff, Frank and Billy. I'm very happy for you all. I know them all and all are great people.

Please help a fellow shooters brother. This Army soldier is a local kid from Toms River. http://www.gofundme.com/McGibbon

Great gun. See how you progress shooting clays before you do any work to it.

I have a lem, so I have the lem package which makes the action smoother and slightly lighter. The reset is sort of like a da/sa. The lem is the way to go imo.

I shoot there. Generally I shoot trap. Let me know a day when it's not freezing and I'll go. Saturday or Sunday is best for me. Also, I have a flat of 8 shit 12ga if you need.

I've lwftine in a long while with no issue. I use fluid film a lot though. It's a must in the winter. I'm going to weld some stuff together to protect the bumper.

If you need seed spreaders etc...lemme know. I have them and don't use them at all. I have an acre and it costs the same to have somebody do it as it is for me to do it so.......

Congrats on the home. I would paint, decorate and change anything you want now. Much easier than when fully furnished. Generator would be one of the first things on my list.
