  1. Except for the reference to your porn issue, this would appear to be an overstatement. Personally I find this to be a relatively well orchestrated forum comprised of folks who for the most part communicate respectably. But if you think I am kidding you can visit AR15.com.
  2. It's always rather sad when we have to make light of the obvious negatives in order to try to stem the tide of rampant liberal pandering. How did it ever get this bad? Anyway, I can't help but wonder if some of those noble politicians who are against the new law are living in a neighborhood even slightly comprised of 2 bedroom houses with 15 trash spewing occupants.
  3. I heard the leftist school board members are carefully screening the material. I'm sure there is no cause for concern.
  4. Working on it actually... New Jersey to Tennessee sounds like a recipe for culture shock. After all, where will you get good cheese steaks and subs? I know those are the typical gripes, just kidding. The real question is how will you react to folks who wave as they go by just because they really want to say hello?
  5. Holy Moly is this a confusing thread. But speaking of crackers, I think I have some Saltines in the pantry that sound good.
  6. What information do you have to verify this? And have you even factored the relevance of a persons age when incarcerated? Ask, and you shall receive. I don't talk out of my a**. While your research results were telling, I don't recall stating nor implying anything about you talking out of your a**. Regardless, the trial process was not factored into my scenario, which was very short-sighted. However the the assessment of costs involved in such a trial according to your findings seem to be beyond absurd. Another aspect of a broken system.
  7. What information do you have to verify this? And have you even factored the relevance of a persons age when incarcerated?
  8. Consider how backwards we have grown as a largely Democratic state. Crime ridden, broken down cities overflowing at a steady rate into the suburbs, taxes unsurpassed anywhere in the nation, the inability for the law abiding to protect themselves in public, the pushing of controversial content in schools, etc. But now here we have a beyond worthless 21 year old deserving of death who liberals have determined does in fact deserve to live...and at our expense. We could be talking about 50+ years of paying to feed this f**k. And as we know there are many, many of them to be found throughout the state.
  9. You answered almost as though PK90 was answering a question of yours. Such wording can be less than effective. Perhaps you can specify what it is you would like to know?
  10. My sincerest condolences and prayers to the family of Sgt. Kubik. Thanks for posting, OP.
  11. Holy crap is my 6 year old son going to love this picture. Carry on...
  12. Great to see, but rather hard to believe the 96+%. Can't help but wonder what other forum folks are hitting it as well (possibly repeatedly) with such high numbers. But I'll take it regardless.
  13. With all due respect OP, are you certain that you thought this through before posting...on several levels?
  14. Sounds encouraging. Maybe they will consider issuing airsoft CCW permits in the event of just such a thing. At least then we can keep the squirrels from looting our local establishments.
  15. Not sure where you think the heat nor pressure required would be coming from. The casing is hot to the touch, but it's not nearly hot enough to deform metal. Just isn't happening. And it is also far too light to make such a dent by falling a mere few feet. Such an impact would have required more force. Also, the notches in the rim appear to be machined rather than impacted. All kinds of folks out there looking to get noticed for something, legit or not.
  16. There is no possible way. Someone is looking for attention.
  17. It's not much, but I put 210 rounds of .40 Winchester 165g through my new Beretta today at Range 14 without any failures whatsoever. I was extremely comfortable shooting this gun, in fact I liked it immensely. Even more so than a 92 I am familiar with. In reference to the above, my trigger seemed fine. So fortunately no adjustments appear to be needed. Just under 3.5 inch groups at 25 yards on one of those windy days when a quarter of everyone targets blow over just before the ceasefire ends, so not too bad.
  18. I will also vouch for PK90. Good service, very reasonable $40 fee.
  19. It is almost utterly impossible to believe that this is still a matter of debate. So f*cking long overdue it is as demoralizing as it is nauseating.
  20. The images are mindless left wing propaganda. They imply we kill innocents for sport. Why are they being displayed here?
  21. While I may be blunt at times, I loathe others who do what you describe above. I am not looking to demean anybody, ever. I just become frustrated with folks who post statements in such a definitive manner that are full of falsehoods. If you or I want to learn, ideally we ask. That is what a forum like this is for. But if you or I just want to spout baseless nonsense, this with a degree of authority, then be prepared to have your bluff called. I don't think there is any real harm there, do you?
  22. There is a member here (PK90) who can fix your mags legally, but he also stated to me recently that he believed 15 round AR mags will be more available in the near future for retail purchase.
  23. My input here would be essentially irrelevant now since the law was not only posted verbatim here in this thread, but also well discussed. Therefore it is on you to explain your failure to comprehend what is available for you to read at will. As far as the man I singled out, his advice is not only factually and legally flawed, it is ridiculous and a discredit coming from someone who runs a club that evolved around firearms.
  24. I want to be very clear here. Having your firearms purchase ID and pistol permits on you can never hurt. That said, with the exemptions spelled out for having the firearms, neither your PP or FPID grant any legality where it would otherwise be legal to have the firearms. This means, you are exempted taking a firearm to the range. Having a PP or FPID does not grant you anything, legally because you already are within one of the exemptions listed. Notice the statutes above, having a pistol without a carry permit is not legal except within the exemptions. The pistol permits prove nothing. Long guns however are slightly different. Think of a FPID as a carry permit for long guns. It _WILL_ grant legality in a situation where it is otherwise NOT legal to carry a long gun except in areas where no guns are permitted ever like a school. However, take note, the way the laws are written, you need your long gun to be cased and unloaded and ammo not readily available. You could legally carry a long gun, in a case, down a street if you didn't have any ammunition on you IF you have a purchaser ID. This is the way the statutes are written. In the real world if a cop finds you with a gun, on the street, you're going to spend the next several days in a small room with iron bars. Don't do it. Again, having proof that the guns are yours and having a purchaser ID on you when they are in the car is never a bad idea. Legally once it makes it into the courts, those documents will not provide you with any immunity. They will however help you prove your case to mr Fife who pulls you over and is unaware of the law. Very well said. Superb in fact.
