  1. Lol - You missed a bunch, JP The cam got pretty shaky in the later videos, unfortunately. Try using a tripod? That looks like fun though. Maybe I'll join in next time.
  2. Add meets/get togethers to events. Add "Computer/IT Help" to local resources?
  3. Yeah the gun shop was nice and the lounge area was good too. I wish the range was bigger but it wasn't a big deal as there were still free ports when I went in there. The sign outside says "no loaded guns" - all guns going inside have to be unloaded, which is fine. Still if you have a CCW you don't have to worry. If you take out the gun while not on the range though, they'll have a problem.
  4. Kids say the darndest things
  5. I know they were sent in. My friend who sent in hers sent it in like 2 weeks ago. I'm figuring it got lost somewhere in the building.... sigh.
  6. Just followed up on my FID & PP yesterday - Apparently they're still waiting on 1 reference, who did send out the letter. Also another check which will take only a few hours... They re-sent the reference request in case it got lost in the mail.... sigh.
  7. Got to try one out today - VERY nice. I like it. The one at the range was dirty too (at least the shop guy said it was) and it fired great with no stoppages. Felt solid in my hands.
  8. Stopped by Fowler Firearms today in Fort Myers, FL. I'm down here on a business trip. Great timing - it's free lanes today for Men (men's day is fridays). Also free rentals! All you had to pay for was ammo and targets! Ammo prices were ok - $20 for a box of 50 9mm. The .223 ammo was relatively cheap - $9 for 20 rounds. They have a decent rental board. I tried out a M&P 9, Springfield XD 9, and the M&P AR15 I saw they had Glocks galore, Ruger SR9, Beretta CX4 Storm (.40), Sig P226, S&W Sigma 9, USP .40, FNP .40, Beretta 92FS, S&W 686, several 1911's including one in 9mm, CZ 75, Walther P22, M&P 15-22, Bushmaster AR-15, and a bunch more that I can't remember or can't name. If you guys are ever down this way, check them out. The range isn't that big (only 6 lanes - 25 Yards), but it's decent and clean. http://www.fowlerfirearms.com/ ... also - didn't like the M&P 9 or the XD9. M&P 9's trigger safety was biting into my finger with each shot, and the XD9 just didn't feel right.
  9. LAWSUIT! He changed a legal form without consent!
  10. Are you registered to vote? I registered to vote in '08 and got my jury summons (federal and county) within the next year.
  11. I'd ask "how do you take them into public with all the cops around?" I'd also tell him to grow up. As for helping make the grandkids, any random douchebag off the street can achieve that feat. I really have no use for people like that. The thought process that leads them to believe that a gun turns you into a homicidal maniac is a very twisted emotional trail of fear and ignorance.
  12. Gun Shops? Rahway Firearms Guild (Expensive). I think the Bullet Hole is within 30/40 mins, depending on traffic. Wouldn't buy from them though.
  13. Man - Too bad - I just put in an order from Widener's. Came to $90/can with shipping. If you want to buy some of it off me, lmk.
  14. That's what it looked like to me.
  15. Pfft. Making kids is the easy part. You know you're responsible enough not to carry around the kids, or to protect them if travelling.
  16. based on that URL I'm very loathe to click it - They have "FREE TV" things all the time but a lot are spam/virus/malware.
  17. Article says they're having troubles keeping the casing together in high heat.
  18. Well what he was shouting was either "look out" or "watch". It means both.
  19. He wants more pics of hot GFs!
  20. Whoah. This is an outdoor range I'm guessing?
