  1. correct me if I am wrong.. but they are not directly supporting the site in any way... in fact the google ads have zero to directly do with the site.. what happens is the owner allows "google ads" and gets a tiny modest kick back based on something (do not know how they count it.. traffic, click throughs, whatever)... google probably takes the contents of this site and tries to match with an ad that would likely be of interest.. "nj politics gun owners" it is no surprise that ad showed up.. but Maks has just as much to do with that specific ad as I do.. which is zero.. so really don't stress over it.. no one is selling you out.. that is the explanation as best as I understand it.. could be off a hair or two but I think it is at least pretty close..
  2. When he started pulling it back.. I was waiting for him to lose grip.. have the handle snap back towards him and have the knives stuck in his eyes....
  3. because you have this fancy licensing that the rest of us do not..
  4. the camo job is nice.. in for videos of it being shot..
  5. unfortunately when it comes to NJ law and policy there does not always be clear cases of black and white.. I called an a local FFL once (before I met Paul from Arms and Ammo) about transferring a Saiga to me that I wanted to buy online.. and the second he realized it was an "evil black rifle" he had absolutely no interest.. his issue was the laws regarding those types of rifles tend to really vary, and he is just not comfortable dealing with it, so he personally only deals with hunting and target type guns.. shotguns.. rifles.. etc... so that might be what you are experiencing here.. someone who is just too afraid of crazy laws to deal with trying to figure out what the deal is..
  6. does the article actually say "alcohol is more dangerous than crack" or does it say "Alcohol is a more dangerous drug than both crack and heroin when the combined harms to the user and to others are assessed, British scientists said Monday." I just really skimmed the article.. but it just seemed like an article about a study..
  7. for what it's worth.. while I certainly don't believe alcohol to be more dangerous than crack.. and while I do NOT believe it should be illegal.. alcohol is pretty dangerous do to widespread use.. my mom died when I was 17 due to just drinking herself to death.. people make bad decisions.. such is life.. you can't legislate common sense decisions and the amount of effort society devotes to worrying about it is kind of a big waste.. it is what it is.. people will abuse substances.. illegal or not.. so stop wasting all this time money and energy worrying about why.. or which is more dangerous.. because honestly.. does it even matter?
  8. not a lawyer but if he has any convictions that prevent him from handling firearms does living in the same house as you allow him access that violates his legal inability to handle guns? like I know someone who has a felony drug conviction when he was young and stated that he can not have a gun or shoot guns..
  9. from the comments in the video it seems that some of them already do..
  10. it takes a month to sew a canvas bag and rip some holes in it?
  11. how much did that cost? I have a friend who has been interested in getting into firearms for some time but is afraid he will be denied based on getting arrested for a problem he had with his girlfriend years ago.. he was never convicted of anything serious as far as I know... so he has asked me before about doing some kind of self background check..

    To Sling or Not

about the only thing I use a sling for is to "drop" the rifle and go to a sidearm when shooting at the home made setup..
  13. you guys hear about all this nonsense? I feel for those of you with kids.. this is total bs..
  14. is that good or bad..
  15. no worries I am ALWAYS around..
  16. nice to see responsible gun ownership.. that is IMO the single most important accessory I ever purchased (my safe).. lol
  17. sadly I am with you on all accounts.. when I got a couple pages in I actually felt a little dirt.. here is a pic to stay on topic.. lol
  18. the conversion is easy and I am in Atlantic county.. more than willing to help if you go that route.. I am in that same spot as far as caliber.. I am considering selling my 7.62x39.. as much as I love it.. I am considering the 223 as well since I may pick up another AR.. but it is hard to convince myself to get rid of the 7.62.. something about it just makes it really fun to shoot.. lol
  19. to keep America free of guns that LOOK scary... if you buy a Saiga.. convert it.. the factory FCG is garbage.. and the weapon will be far more balanced post conversion.. great gun I own one in 7.62 and love it.. what caliber are you looking at?
  20. its ok.. the finger is off the trigger and it does not appear to be a remington 700.. so the gun probably won't go off..
  21. hmm 2weeks.. I may finally bite the bullet and fill out for this..
  22. as far as I know you wont be needing any paperwork to sell ammo.. but you will need to be a premier member to sell it here....
