  1. Pete I would be glad to call you or send you an email outlining my 4 trips to your business, at this point making another trip there just to share these stories seems like a waste of my time, I have you guys the benifit if the date already 3 times. Do you have an email address or phone extension?
  2. I personally have given your business 4 tries, three times you failed. One time it was great, brad helped me that time. I desperately wanted to be a frequent customer of your business as my business is less than 5 minutes away. I have been treated poorly on two occasions by one of the owners, don't know his name but know he is an owner. What am I to do, come complain to you about your partner? A lot of people are saying the same things, hopefully you can fix the problem and get these customers back, I know you are busy but can you ever be too busy?
  3. 2 of the 4 times I have been there the owner was the problem. All dressed in his tactical gear treating customers like a$$holes. I think the problem is at the top and I hope the gun for hire range makes them wake up. Aesthetically the place is nice, the BS attitude of the staff from top to bottom ruins it. Anyone remember when they were raffling off the chance to get to pay above full retail for a keltec KSG? To me that speaks volumes.
  4. I have tried to be a customer but it just cant happen. On 4 occasions i have gone there and on 3 of them i was treated like a piece of garbage, twice by one of the owners. One time the girl helping me was chewing tobacco and spitting it in a cup while talking to us.... The situation that made me realize i will never go there again is this: I did a gun deal with a forum member, he took my AR and gave me cash plus a 1911.. I was waiting due to OGAM but because of our schedules we needed to do the deal now... we met at my local business inspected each others guns, traded the cash and the AR then went to RTSP to have them take the handgun in for me and hold it. I knew i had to pay transfer and NICS, they made me pay up front just over $90. I knew the price was high but hey they were the only local place open that late so i agreed to it. The following week i decided i wanted to sell the 1911 and not complete the transfer. I emailed RTSP and was advised if i sold it locally i could transfer the fees already paid to the new buyer, if i sold it over the internet i would have to pay shipping(which i expected), plus another $70 or so transfer fee... i asked why they couldn't answer me... made no sense to me luckily i sold it locally. Last time i was there the staff was making fun of a guy shooting in the range because he was new and not a good shot. I'm glad there is another range opening up of similar quality in NNJ. Hope it teaches RTSP a Lesson! I will take the extra time and drive to Hackettstown or Red Dot in stanhope as the owners of those businesses know how to treat their customers! I have held back from saying this for a while, but i have spoken to a number of people all with similar experiences. RTSP is 5 minutes from my business and 10 minutes from my home and i will drive 35 minutes to go to another range because of the way i was treated.
  5. Correct me if i am wrong, but "Part Kits" are not legal in NJ.
  6. Just had this exact thing occur this weekend.. My daughter mentioned her new 15-22 in front a friends who was having a sleepover.. I just spoke to my daughter and explained our guns are all locked away in a safe that only i know the combo to. We use our guns at the range when we visit it and only there, under strict adult supervision. I ended it by saying they are not toys and are off limits to the kids. i figured the other kids parents couldn't say anything as i didn't talk directly to their kid.
