  1. I was gonna say "no" until I read you would be able to bring snacks.
  2. Thanks guys, I was wanting the green as well for the reason you stated, but I never actually used one. I will keep putting my pennies away for this then. I am just messing around of course. I am very lucky to have my wife, she has to put up with a lot, ME. Lol
  3. Blake, Does your girlfriend have a sister? My wife doesn't buy me shit so I am in the market for a girlfriend to buy me nice things. Lol
  4. Have you ever tried the G model and if so how do you like it verses the red?
  5. Actually they had issues with the early 4.6L CV's. I don't know if you remember it or not but if I recall correctly the oil cooler would go bad and allow anti-freeze to get into the engine oil. It was "no bueno" Also I remember a problem with one of those caprices where if you were idling and the cooling fans would kick on for some reason the radar would pick it up and you would get a ghost reading of something like 72 and there was nothing there. LOL
  6. Right on fellas, nice offers from fellow forum members.
  7. This statement is un-true and is often used by inferior right handed shooters as a crutch as to why they can't keep up with us lefties.
  8. Not a precision rig by any stretch but IMHO this is still VERY impressive! Shooting the M4 at 1000 yards- http://looserounds.com/2013/08/05/what-will-the-m4-do-at-1000-yards/
  9. LMAO! I knew a guy who tried that once in a bar fight years ago....it didn't end so well for him.
  10. Yes, they were. Two years later in '97 the county started buying Crown Vic's. Went from a Chebbie 5.7L to a Found On Road Dead 4.6L. Couldn't even fry the tires in the CV's.
  11. I give em the finger. You find out a lot quicker if it's a real one or not.
  12. Cool Pic and car. Thanks for posting!
  13. Ok back to the OP's original question. So from what several of the forum members have said about the quality of their own Spikes Tactical upper's and how they have used them it sounds to me like that would be a good choice for you. As far as BCM goes and pricing. If you look at their website they offer many different combinations for their middy 14.5 free-float rail systems. Add in barrel types and profiles and and you have a lot of options to choose from. As Vlad stated most folks are going to recommend what they have themselves. I always personally recommend to try and at least handle or even better, shoot the gun you are thinking of buying. It has always helped me to answer more questions then the internet ever could. That said since you are just looking at purchasing an upper maybe one of the forum members would let you try their ST upper out. If you are interested in trying out a BCM middy upper let me know.
  14. Vlad, Did you get their new hat with that upper too? Just kidding but I had to, you left the door wide open on that one!
  15. Hey that is fine. It sounds like you are on the right track then.
  16. I am partial to BCM and have experience with several of their 14.5 with pinned comps uppers. I have no experience with either PSA or ST. I noticed that all of the uppers you choose have a free-float quad-rail on them. Do you have a specific need for the quad-rail and no FSB? I think if you provide a little more information as to what you are going to use it for could help with the decision making process. As you probably already know there are literally hundreds of different combos of 14.5 uppers and various hand guard and drop-in or free float rail options. Perhaps there may be something that will get the job done at a different price point for you.
  17. I think there is at least four Franklin Townships in NJ, could be even more.
  18. Damn it, I was gonna say aliens.
  19. Nice pic and Yes you did say that. Sorry , I must of had a DSA.
  20. I sold my Colt A2 Upper so I am planning on using a flattop with an LMT rear sight or carry handle. I know yours was a budget build and I see you went with the carbine gas 16" barrel, I plan on using a Mid-length gas LW 16" barrel which I see that company has listed as well. Please give a range report on that barrel, I am curious.
  21. Those Bushy were the s**t back in the day! Of course with flat top uppers and all the free float rail options out there now it does make them kind of obsolete for anything but irons as you stated.
  22. As H-E said just double check components and assembly. Although I am not a big fan of DPMS in general, I do have a LR-308 lower but I replaced the trigger assembly with a LMT 2-stage and I have no isssues with it. I probably still have the org. LR-308 trigger group somewhere and if you want it you are more than welcome to it. I would use the KNS pins as a last ditch effort.
