Definitely not mine. Just checked some recent spent casings from my P226 with the factory Federal 124 gr that I used at the match and there's no striker issue on them.

I think his point was that since PSA won't ship to a NJ FFL, I could ship to ADCO, have them neuter it, then have them tranfer it to a NJ FFL. Sounds like a good idea provided that all these transfers and mod costs don't get so high that it's not longer a good deal.

Thanks for the feedback guys. The salesman said they won't ship to NJ due to liablity concerns, even though I told him that an FFL will mod it before transfering it to me. He said the owner will be back on Tuesday and that I should talk to him directly. Hopefully he can be reasoned with...I want this rifle.

Congrats! Same here. Started with Col Mortimer's intro class in Shongum earlier this year and just got my first classification...C class. I expected a D, so I'm pretty happy about that. Makes me that much more determined to move up to B.

USPSA - Production 9mm (SIG P226)

My quest for an AR continues. I came across this deal on another forum. It's a Palmetto State Armory 16" 5.56, M4A1 Hammer-Forged, Chrome-Lined, Patrol Carbine with an Aimpoint Patrol Optic for $999 plus $15 s&h. Seems like a decent deal considering the Aimpoint alone goes for at least $400 and PSA is a reputable company. It would need the stock pinned and a fixed muzzle brake for compliance (and mag). Any chance they will ship if they have a letter from an FFL stating that they will mod it to be compliant? If so, I think I'll be pulling the trigger (so to speak). Thanks

It's an ie8/ie9 issue (although I didn't have the issue until upgrading to ie9). Run this site (and any other sites that have the same problem) in Compatability Mode and it should work properly. You can click the Compatability View icon in the upper right hand corner when you visit the site (it will turn blue), or you can permanently add the site to the Compatability View list in Tools-->Compatability View Settings. I had a similar reaction on my way to CJ this morning and thought of my kids as well being in that situation. There was a speach by a son who lost his father when he was 9. He spoke about how he wished that his father had been there to see him graduate high school, get his first job and countless other things in his life. Then he went on to say that his younger brother was only 2 at the time and that he spent the last 10 years teaching his brother the things that his father had tought him and that he wished that his brother had a chance to know his father , as he had. It was heartbreaking.

Amazon used to sell these for $43, which is what I bought them at. Still a decent price at $53, I guess. Definitely recommend them.

Plus $60 tax. Amazon has the slightly smaller model (6000 watt / 6950 surge) for $749...no tax, free shipping. Might be worth looking into if you don't need the extra watts. 6000 should power just about everything you need in your home.

They really pack those things in tight. The case of RWS was much smaller than a typical case of 9mm. Looks good...hope to try it this weekend.
