Hi-Point 995 Series Legality
claptrap replied to this_is_nascar's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
They are legal even with the compensator since the barrel isn't threaded Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I have a pmag or 2 but they are glued shut. I didn't give the website in the email what I asked was for clarification on if the mag had to be welded, I know from discussions here that a 20 round pmag with the limiter they sell is not good to go here. Their system here seems to be different than any other ban stage mags I've seen and who knows if it's legal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

hello everyone, hows it going? i saw a new company called hex mag online and i was wondering what everyones take on on their new 10/15 round mags in 30 round bodies. They say there is a riser in there and a shortened spring and you can take it apart for cleaning, would these be NJ legal? I have sent an email to the state police trying to get some feedback but none so far. thoughts? http://hexmag.com/new-products/

My Rant of the day on mag limits bill A2006/S993
claptrap replied to Howard's topic in Pending Legislation Discussion
Hello, any updates? Seems time is running out and I'm getting a little worried. Also don't think it matters calling the gov office they seem uninterested and doubt they pass on any information Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Wow that's sweet looking but $300 plus the cost of a 10/22 and then looks like no irons so u need a scope or mbus on the rail and your in for $600+ hard to justify but it would turn some heads when u take it to the range Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My Rant of the day on mag limits bill A2006/S993
claptrap replied to Howard's topic in Pending Legislation Discussion
Did anyone else notice that there is a gun ban language included in this bill, some are saying that it will ban ARs under the radar any insight to this from anyone? Is that AWB language in all the bills? I also noticed that they kept fixed mags at 15 rounds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
New NJ gun bills stalled?
claptrap replied to JayWilling's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
This is all about money nothing else, greenwald opened his mouth about a mag exchange. That dosent sound like paying us for mags where they cN claim they cost $1 each and rob us, but rather the state buying thousands of them and trading with us, how would they know what kind to buy and how would they source that many. Imagine how many leftovers they would have. People will have a fit if they defund more schools for gun parts, but the irony there would be great ammo for republicans to fire back at them (no puns intended there) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
$20 not bad since these are new, since I see used ones at gun shows for $15, but the surplus ones are always rusty and smell funny and they never close right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got one on amazon for $130 and I think its great for the money, much clearer than the primary arms I had before and much better build quality. The only thing that sucks is it leaves no room for a magnifier Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone on here recently snag a sub2000? I'm looking for a 40cal version and I see prices from $400-700. So far have not found one local and I really don't wanna get ripped off on gun broker so what should I be paying for one of these? Also anyone that has one how do u like it? What gun to teach my girlfriend to shoot on?
claptrap replied to Kaiser7's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
I'd say stick with the .22 pistol and the .22 bolt rifle, also I find that sometimes a used .22 pistol is cheaper than a conversion kit so something to think about. I got a can (yes a can with pull tab and all) of federal .22 from bobs not to long ago maybe they have more? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
