  1. that's probably why they gave you the answer they did. you didn't state as a resident of NJ. their answer is correct as a resident of anywhere else.
  2. they said they're looking at a november 15 or earlier opening as long as the town gives the final ok. @tommy3rd i'm not sure how fast they will answer you here but if you have facebook and go to their facebook page they respond to those pretty quickly
  3. as mentioned before all those restrictions only apply to semi-auto shotguns
  4. while they don't specifically say if it is a SBR or not, it does look like they're comparing it to the thompson a5 and the loopholes that jumped through i did find this showing the firearm in action. in the video and on their website they market it as a pistol edit: according to them under cali law it is defined as a pistol
  5. http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/9657-firearm-purchasing-requirements-as-it-applies-to-nj-resident/page__view__findpost__p__125003
  6. i'm guessing you have to plug it into a wall outlet or something in order to feed the firearm
  7. you guys bring up possibilities of what this state would do if this passes but i think they would only apply to the residents of this state cause under H.R.822 they do have a section which i think addresses that issue

now someone correct me if i am wrong but aren't the p99q and ppq different guns probably a question better suited for a walther forum
  10. more like if you're worried don't put down anything. employment is not a requirement.
  11. this reminds of that one thread that was on here and the court case that brought up the same argument http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/24703-magpul-ubrdoes-this-need-to-be-pinned/page__view__findpost__p__325864
  12. i'm pretty sure it is legal to own however it is illegal to use while committing a murder, robbery or any other illegal activity.
  13. not really the law exactly but an overview of it http://www.nraila.org/statelawpdfs/NYSL.pdf

    M&P .22lr pistol

i'm guessing you didn't look at gunbroker? they have 2 posted.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpqKIzxiixc&feature=player_embedded a man signs some papers, files it for $16, moves in, and pretty much owns the place. neighbors are getting mad that they didn't think of it first.
  18. let's not forget that doesn't apply to semi-auto shotguns where the max is 6
  19. think of it like twitter with extra features.
  20. 1. Application type (FID/permit w/ existing FID). Initial FID with 2 permits. 2. Police Department where you applied. Union PD 3. Name of the person you dealt with at the PD. Detective Baird (I'm pretty sure that's how you spell his name) 4. Time taken to issue FID and/or permit. 45 Days (5/10/11 - 6/24/11) 5. Documents required by the PD (aside from the standard application and the mental health release form). Nothing Additional 6. Notes - anything pertaining to the application process (unforeseen difficulties, chief of police calling your home, you hiring an attorney, etc.). Very nice and straightforward. I gave them the 30 days and about another week before following up with the application. Called on Tuesday, got a reply Thursday and was able to pick it up Friday.
  21. what about something like this? or in a gun safe
  22. open up your computer case and take a picture. i'm curious to see what the computer is running. i have a feeling that pretty much everything is integrated which would mean a simple solution is going to be hard. you can try to make sure the ram chips are fully inserted or replace the battery found on the motherboard (your computer is old and this probably does need to get replaced soon) NOTE. before you try messing with any of the internal hardware make sure you are grounded. static is not a computer's friend.
  23. maybe. i would try another monitor too and connecting the mouse to another computer. if it's both a "failing mouse" and a "broken monitor" but it turns that neither is the case, it actually might be a failing motherboard?
  24. so as i understand it... this allows ONLY the out-of-state residents with valid IDs and carrying permits to carry pretty much anywhere including here in NJ, but does nothing for residents who want to obtain and carry in their own state. so for us, visitors can come here carrying their guns and it would be perfectly legal but this state can still make it hard for us residents in obtaining a license and carrying. However, we can walk into Manhattan and carry our guns there?
