  1. I have used the Chiappa and the CMMG. I had nothing but problems with both of them. I sold both and bought a 15-22. I have heard good things about the Taccom .22 upper, but I have never seen or used one. http://www.taccom3g.com/ULW_UPPER_22LR.html
  2. You have to love a company that stands behind their products, so many don't these days. I have never used any Safariland products but I will look at them when my next purchase for something in their line comes up. I do like the looks of their ELS attachment kit but I have never seen one in use.
  3. if you are only moving the fish a mile then just put them in a bucket and move them and be done with it. The important thing is to have the tank you are moving them to ready to go that means cycled to the load that you are about to put in the tank. The filter is the most important part of the system. If the filter is the one that is in the manual that was linked above then it is most likely plenty of filtration for a 20g tank. When I used to set up Gold fish tanks an under gravel filter or even a small internal box filter was all that was used, now this was a long time ago and things have change in the aquarium hobby, but for Goldfish it's pretty straight forward. If these fish are coming out of an established pond or tank or bowl it doesn't matter you need to get some of the bacterial filtration out of the existing tank and put it in the new one. There are a few ways to do this but that depends on the existing setup, what type of filtration does the existing system have on it? If it has some sort of canister filter or external on it I would open it up and take a piece of the existing mechanical filtration out and put it in the new filter. The mechanical filtration could be filter bag, floss, bio-balls you won't know until you open it up or you can take some water out of the existing setup for the new setup. Once you have a piece of the bio filter from the existing tank you can put it in the stage 2 compartment of the new filter. There are no set rules on how many fish you can put in a tank it depends on how much you feed, what type of fish and how well you maintain the tank. I wouldn't mess around with live plants in a 20gal tank you need to have the proper lighting for them and they can be harder to keep than the fish. You need to get an ammonia test kit for fresh water and make sure you never have any ammonia in the tank after the initial cycle and if ammonia is present you need to change water with clean ammonia free water (about 2 gals at a time depending on levels). I used to run an aquarium maintenance company many years ago and worked in pet shops when I was younger. I have had many different tanks over the years. I have had two different 90g reef tanks both with ozone, Co2 wet/dry filters. protein skimmers every gadget that was available 20 years ago. I have had small 30 gal seahorse and invert tanks and up to 180gal marine fish tanks. I have maintained tanks over 300g for customers. The hardest tank I have ever had to work on was a 30gal freshwater plant tank that had a clay substrate and Co2 injected into it. , You just need to plan your steps and get as much biological filtration from the existing tank as possible without hurting the existing tank. You can take the aquarium hobby to the extremes or just enough to keep a few fish alive so you can have a stress free environment for them and you. I find watching fish very peaceful!! So good luck with the proper steps you will have no issues. http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/converter/volume-calculator.php
  4. I totally agree with this. I like the feel of the Ergo grip better than any other grip I have used so far. I know it wasn't included in your choices but for $20 bucks may as well give it a try you can always get rid of it if you don't like it.
  5. Go shoot a match, if you have only shot paper targets they get boring. Shoot a steel match or USPSA or any other match and I would be you get the feeling back!! I know i look forward to the weekends to shoot matches! or sell your stuff and get a chess set
  6. There was also a UFC fighter who shot himself in the thigh while cleaning his gun. I am no longer amazed by peoples stupidity, at least we know of one Mexican that won't be crossing the border again!! http://www.tmz.com/2014/08/03/joe-riggs-gun-shot-wound-hole-graphic-photos-ufc-fighter/
  7. I don't know whats legal in IDPA but I use the TTI and the Zev (glockworx) base pads for USPSA. They don't add any capacity to the 10 rd mags. If you think the Brownells are pricey these are down right crazy expensive. The TTI ones are legal in production as they fit in the box but I don't think the Zev's are. I like the TTI ones better and it makes your mags drop very nicely. I use a heavy Zev magwell and both work great on my 34 and 35 http://tarantacticalinnovations.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=44_49&products_id=182
  8. I think YT= Yukon Territories Canada, SK= Saskatchewan. I only think that because it lists foreign numbers 962 so it must be Canada?
  9. I thought this was interesting, if your into USPSA you can get some idea how the classes break down and some other info. http://www.uspsa.info/cgi-bin/db_class_summary.cgi
  10. Install them yourself they take ten mins. at most. If you never did it look for a video on youtube and then you will realize how easy it is.
  11. I just shot the match in under 1.5 hours and had to wait for the Reg. people to show up. Very quick for a glock match!!
  12. I am going Sunday,17 in Amateur Civilian and 34 in competition.
  13. I used a 34 when I shot IDPA it's a great gun for USPSA Production, SSP and you can use it in ESP with some mods like a mag well extended mag release. I think in the last IDPA magazine I read it said more people were shooting Glock 34 than any other gun in SSP. I will post a few pics of my 34 and 35 later my camera battery is dead now.
  14. I have never used one bet everyone who has say the are great barrels. They have a lot of choices. http://www.brileypd.com/
  15. There are a lot of people shooting 40 in USPSA I would think more than 9mm. I don't feel that much of a difference when shooting my 35 from the 34, it's a little snappier but not bad.

You can also buy a one with a trigger job new hammer and some other work done. The CZcustom shop usually has them but they are out now and so is Cajun Gun works. I think the we re in the $800 range but not totally sure. When either company does the work it becomes an great pistol. I think the grip is just about if not the same size as the 75b, but again I haven't shot one in awhile. You could go nuts and get t he one linked to below. http://czcustom.com/czprotek2black.aspx
  17. Send this guy an email he can probably answer the question. Rob Bagnato [email protected]
  18. swap out the mag tube extension with one of these +0 I think will work. I would email Mark to find out for sure. [email protected] http://www.carbonarms.us/Shotgun-Accessories/Carbon-Arms-VersaTube-4-to-7-rounds.html
  19. I have used the 1301 and it seems pretty solid so if it's that gun with a longer barrel it should a winner. I wouldn't consider the keltec for a 3 gun shotgun semi is the way to go.

Mine too but we are in the minority. If I could afford a Benelli I would have one. So far my 930 has been 99% reliable. I have done the basic mods new lifter and opened up the loading port, but that doesn't matter if you don't keep the piston clean!!
  21. This one has a 20" barrel http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/37_588_988/products_id/59707/CZ+USA+712+Utility+12ga+20%22 This is a 912 with a 28" barrel http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/37_588_988/products_id/72183/CZ+912+SemiAuto+Semi-Automatic+12+Gauge+3%22+4%2B1+Capacity+28%22 The Stoeger is a little more but gets great reviews. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/37_956/products_id/411550160/STOEGER+M3000+1228+SYN

for a less expensive alternative look at the Stoeger m3000. I have a 930 and it runs pretty good, but they are pretty hit and miss. The Stoegers have been getting great reviews from a bunch of 3 gun nation shooters.
  23. CJ is also this Sunday $8 a gun for non-members and $3 per gun for member of CJ. I usually shoot Pistol iron and Rimfire iron
