The DI RMRs will wash. I have carried one for a couple years now and haven't found it to be an issue. At night, a shot can easily be easily made at a 25 yards on a 10x13 steel plate with little to no light. I also have the 07 and 06 on guns and they are the witches boobies.

Unless the kinetic energy crushes vital organs or there is a CNS hit that provides immediate incapacitation the body has to lose enough blood or the brain has to be deprived of oxygen. Blood loss and deprived oxygen can take a lot of time, if it happens at all. Pistol rounds generally don't generate enough kinetic energy to crush organs, and headshots with a pistol are wishful thinking for the most part. A few rifle rounds IF applied in the area of the thorasic cavity have shown they will develope enough kinetic energy to crush vital organs. Again that takes time, and doesn't immediately provide incapacitation. A CNS hit with a rifle round is not that easy given the circumstances surrounding the situation. Like HE said, shot placement and then that doesn't guarantee anything.

Upper might be Stag. I have used uppers from... Delton, CBC industries, Colt, DD, BCM, PSA, Bushmaster, Triton Mfg among others. Never had an issue with accuracy or fit and finish.

I/We have dropped it, kicked it carried it and it has functioned 100%. Never lost zero. I have had one on a Glock 19 for 3 years with 5000ish rounds on it and still functions just as new. Mounted on a static rail it will be good to go. Trijicons warranty is Top Notch as well.
