  1. I would like everyone's opinion on best sights for carry guns. Standard white dot? Tritium same color? Tritium different colors? fiber optic? etc... Thinking about changing the sights on my P30SK from the factory illuminated sights. I'm thinking that in a self defense situation I won't have time to charge the factory sights
  2. Press is sold, but I have other items you might be interested in
  3. I know many on this board have bought or are buying VP9SK or P30SK pistols for CCW, that is exactly what I did. But since I have a boat load of VP9 mags, I don't want to buy any P30SK mags, at least not until I can buy the 13 or 15 round mags. I also looked into the x-grip spacer, but it seems to have mixed reviews, specifically that it's loose. So I figured I'd spend a few days and make my own 3D printed spacer. So here it is, after 3 days of designing and printing 9 iterations. If you have a 3D printer you can print it yourself for about $0.30 instead of buying the x-grip for $15. And also, it won't move, I designed it to be pretty snug. You can download it from thingiverse and print it yourself. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5546831
  4. I have a few HKs, never had to break them in. The only problem I have ever had was with my USP45, FTF on every round. The cause was user error. I cleaned the gun with hoppes and forgot to oil it, it was bone dry. I just got a P30SK myself, hopefully taking it to the range this weekend, i'll see how it goes.
  5. Ok, so I just bought a P30SK and have a few more HKs on my shopping list. Here is what I'm looking for: 1. P30 V3, DA/SA with manual safety 2. HK45 Compact V1, DA/SA with manual safety No particular order which one I will get first. I can pay cash, paypal, or zelle. I even have some factory UMC 38spc I'm willing to trade. I do need to preface that my first purchase can only be made on 10/30, and the second 31 days after that. But I figured I'd start looking early. New or Used, I'm open. NOTE: Due to the prevelance of scams, I will only purchase from established NJGF members or established NJGF vendors. Communications from all others will be ignored.
  6. Mine was submitted on 9/19 and nothing yet
  7. I would shop at the ATF store. A bottle of grey goose and a new 1911, one stop shopping
  8. So what date are they on now? Mine was submitted on 9/19
  9. I think this belongs here https://nypost.com/2022/09/16/truck-believed-to-be-full-of-sex-toys-overturns-on-oklahoma-i-40-highway/amp/
  10. Yes, approx 5 lbs. I'll throw in a half full container of lemishine.
  11. No, they did not charge me. I was just curious since is was my first experience with fars. I obviously have not bought a pistol in a while. I need to catch up.
  12. Still selling a lot of stuff. No takers? I need to fund more gun purchases.
  13. Here is a question to the masses. I applied for 3 pistol purchase permits. Why did my approval email include a link to a digital FID card? I've had a physical FID card for 20 years.
  14. beat you to it, I already placed the order with Steve
  15. Got my 3 permits at 4am this morning, 3 weeks to process. Already placed an order for my first gun .
  16. P30SK, P30, HK45. All V3 with safety. P30SK first so I can do my qualification.
  17. Well, I woke up this morning to the good news. Got my permits, 3 weeks. Time to go shopping. For anyone else in Manalapan, the email says the permits will auto renew after 90 days unless your PD blocks it. Does Manalapan PD block the auto renewal?
  18. Any updates on this? I will be buying some new pistols soon and would much rather get them with standard capacity mags.
  19. Congrats. And I'm happy they removed the NRA requirement. Maybe now I will consider joining as well.
  20. Just make sure sure the camera is not on, lol. I'm on teams calls all day, half of them with the camera on.
  21. I was referring to holstering and unholstering. As I stated earlier, too many stories of clothing getting stuck in the trigger guard while holstering.
  22. The switch between the ears is not perfect. Even the most trained and disciplined people make mistakes in a high stress situation. Adding a manual safety is just extra protection from a momentary brain fart imo. I just thought of another scenario where a manual safety might be useful. If god forbit the bad guy pulls your gun out of your holster during a scuffle. That manual safety might just save your life.
