One of my representatives, Assemblywoman Schepisi, did not vote on any of the bills. I wrote to her asking why she didn't vote and what her position is on the issue. I received the following reply within two minutes: Unfortunately I was out of the country on a family vacation which was planned 11 months ago. I am a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment and would have voted no on most of the proposed bills. Best, Holly Schepisi I understand having vacation plans made ahead of time and everything that goes into getting a spouse and kids time off for this. However, this vote was a major issue. In the corporate world, when a big business event happens, you're expected to cancel plans and deal with the situation. I empathize with her vacation plans, but dealing with last minute votes is part of what she signed up for a an Assemblywoman. Thoughts (please keep it civil)?

If you want to do some clays (trap, skeet), be sure to check out Thunder Mountain in Ridgewood. It's about a 30 minute drive. You don't even need a shotgun, they will lend you one of theirs. Cherry Ridge is more like an hour drive if you do the speed limit.

No, I HAVE the flu. I've already missed three days of work and this is our busy season. The flu is a real bitz. I got zero sleep all weekend and most of this week. If I didn't have this damn flu, I'd be going for sure. I don't mind a little snow.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to go. I was going to. I had taken the day off from work. I even worked out how to get there without the wife finding out. And then, I got the darn flu. SOB! Please take some video for those of us can't (for legit reasons) make it. Btw, I have a paid spit on Montvale bus if anyone wants it...no charge.
