  1. 2C39-1(y) "Large capacity ammunition magazine" means a box, drum, tube or other container which is capable of holding more than 15 rounds of ammunition to be fed continuously and directly therefrom into a semi-automatic firearm." http://www.nj-statut...statute_id=1902
  2. There's demand on gun related everything right now, panic buying idiots are stockpiling everything. I have never heard of someone making there own mags from scratch, do you have extensive machinist/gunsmithing/metal working skills? If not I'd venture to guess it would be pretty difficult.
  3. 2 point stays a little tighter to the body in my experience, some people may prefer that but I find when it's tighter to my body the gun seems to snag on my clothing etc. And because of that I can't transition as quickly. I find it easier to keep the shotgun a bit lower and just pull it up as to avoid snagging. When I say transition I'm talking from shotgun to holstered pistol, I don't want to have my primary gun to tight to my chest, if my shotgun fails I want to be able to get it out of my way but still keep it within arms reach That's just my opinion and what is most comfortable for me, you have to do what is comfortable for you.
  4. I have a one point on my HD shotgun strictly because it's more comfortable for me. If I was taking my shotgun on a ruck march I'd prefer a two point but I'm not. If I need to drop my shotgun for any reason, I like the fact that I can drop it straight down and it is still easily accessible to me if I need to transition back. I really like the Magpul MS3 sling on my AR, it can function as a two point or a single.
  5. F**** dirty hippies. Place to move to: Texas Maine Colorado
  6. No matter how much NJ sucks, they cannot stop you from taking a friend gun shopping with you.
  7. NO. You are seriously over-thinking this. Whenever I buy a gun, if my buddy is with me, I show him the gun let him finger it and get his opinion on it. He might notice something that I may miss.
  8. Unless the store decides to kick him out he is allowed to be in the store.
  9. Do whatever you want dude. I'm just saying if there is a terror suspect hiding somewhere in my neighborhood, I will have a gun on me at all times, that is kind of one of the reasons I own guns in the first place.
  10. +1 That's nice to see. People like to talk nonsense about the BH, but this just reaffirms it for me...good people there.
  11. If guys are knocking on my door in full battle rattle with "high powered assault rifles" doesn't matter what's on my hip or in my arms or what I say. An itchy trigger finger is gonna itch.
  12. imaginary +1 This is a great answer IMO. My first thoughts were Not without a search warrant. But having a handgun holstered, clearly shows that I am in control of my household.
  13. I've been looking at something similar at Lowes by black and decker.
  14. IDK if anyone is still on the hunt for ARs, but this is best price I have seen in months. http://www.classicfirearms.com/long-guns/mmcar15-529
  15. My FFL told me this. He got a call from someone, (IDK if it was NICS or SP) gauging interest in an online NICS system. Sounds good to me. As long as we get NICS back to the way it once was, speed wise, I don't care if it's call or internet. Just let me buy muh gunz.
  16. WELCOME!!! It was nice meeting you the other day by Rick's.
  17. How in the hell does refusing to answer a question equate to "leo hatred"? If you even question a leo or his actions on this forum you are automatically labeled a "leo hater".
  18. I have never heard of groundhogs attacking people. If it doesn't give you any problems leave it alone, he probably lived in that backyard before you moved in.
  19. Stack it deep, while it's cheap......and there is no panic.
