  1. Agree. But I'm sure other morons have slid into their place. The ones that weren't old enough to vote in 16'.
  2. Yep. Bernie scares me. I believe he would have beat Trump if Hillary hadn't screwed (paid) over Bernie. Bernie had some serious momentum going into the election.
  3. Previous administration bred that into that generation. Free school, free healthcare, blah blah blah. They will not accept any form of criticism. Do not hold themselves responsible for anything. It's never their fault. And think that "the rich" will pay for it. That article proves it. The author of the article proves it.
  4. The one thing politician's ain't talking about is WHY they are shooting each other. Drugs. I think I'll write some emails to some local politician's. Ask em why do they shoot each other. Is because they are racist? Is it over a car? Over a house? Why are they shooting each other? Drugs are not legal but the areas where these shootings occur are flooded with drugs. Gee....hhmmmm.....I wonder....
  5. By dems/libs definition this is a mass shooting! Why aren't they at the scene of crime demanding stricter gun laws. Why aren't they screaming on CNN or MSNBC? If this was in "Mayberry" or done in a white neighborhood they'd be screaming from the raftors. Why is this not garnering any national attention? Where's Booker? Where's that scrawny white kid that still uses the Florida shooting as a platform?
  6. I've used ground meat but family isn't a fan. When I've made snack sticks with venison or beef it had that waxy texture. Same if using jerky gun and laying strips on trays. Last few years have only used whole muscle meat.
  7. Both. I cheat. Lol. After much trial and error and a dozen different "recipes" my wife and kids like this version. I basically use the original blend of dry cure/spices from high mountain. I sprinkle on as I cut it. I then add 1oz of soy sauce to the bag. Let marinate/cure over night. Put on dehydrator for 5-6 hours. And agree I'm not a fan of "wet" jerky. We prefer dry jerky and have it break when we chew it. I always try and cut against the grain so it's not chewy or stringy.
  8. Speaking of cured meats. My younger sons school is having "colonial day" this week. Been tasked with bringing some food item in. I'm makiy beef jerky. Using London broil cut as it's lean and the grain is straight (I cut against the grain). Cut up and cured yesterday. Over night in the fridge. On the dehydrator now. Will be done in a couple hours. Will post a pic. Disclaimer: I wanted to use venison because that was probably what they cured and dried in those days but the wife nixed that idea. Lol.
  9. Great flick. Enjoyed it.
  10. Haven't seen it yet. But heard JW 4 is already in the works.
  11. Aside from getting good grades and being a good student...Would LOVE to hear more. Do's and Donts?
  12. Stop shooting cannons and you'll be healed! Lol.
  13. As hunters we strive, hope , and pray that we make a quick, efficient, and humane kill. Reality is it just doesn't happen that often. It's not because someone may have made a "bad" shot it's just that the animal in that moment is tough. The will to live/survive is strong. Whether it's in a hunting scenario or at a slaughter house... pigs, cows, chickens...the extreme majority of them.... have a violent ending.
  14. That was probably the most surprising thing for me....how much lead these pigs took and didn't wanna quit. I was nervous about making my one shot count with my muzzleloader. Was fortunate to make a good shot and break it's neck but still ended up having to put a 357mag in the brainpan for all movement to cease. Looking forward to some Good eats. Nick
  15. He and I were killing pigs yesterday. Otherwise we would have been there.
  16. Quite specific. Hhhhmmmmm. No judgement. LOL
  17. Yeah I'm considering getting a room. My drive is a lil over 2 hours each way. Weapon wise it will either be a .50cal muzzleloader or my crossbow. 150lb draw on it. I've had plenty of dead critters in my rogue. Lol. Just had a 25lb gobbler in there on Saturday. I'm used to the smells. Lol. Tarps, rubber gloves, wet wipes, eye And ear protection. Bug spray. Blaze orange.
  18. Thanks for the response. Yeah I'll have tarps. A few. Lol. 2 hour drive. I'll probably stuff bags of ice in chest cavity for the ride. Yeah I'm thinking either xbow or maybe the muzzleloader.
  19. Who's hunting this Saturday's pig hunt on the 27th? Driving there that morning or staying overnight? What weapon? I'm still undecided. Lol. Has anyone did it before? What was average distance of shot? Considering bringing a bow or xbow. I'm pumped. Looking forward to meeting some people. Getting some fresh pork.
  20. If your somewhere in South Jersey (08053) be glad to let you and your wife shoot mine. Remington 11/87 20ga. 21" barrel. Not for sale as my kids love it. Lol.
