I didnt even think about the M&P 22. I will have to include it in my search. In seeing some comparisons size wise the sr22 and p22 looled pretty much the same size. I have read about the slide makeup of the walther and i was not impressed by it.

Any one ever compare these 2 side by side? Permits just came in and i am looking to pick up a .22 with one of them. Reading a couple reviews on the web alot of guys lean towards the Ruger. Thanks

Was in a gun shop today and overheard a conversation between a gentleman picking up his 1st hand gun and the salesman behind the counter. Guy behind the counter said the new gun owner had to have the pink copy of the pistol permit with him at all times when he had the pistol in his posession. I had never heard this before? Is he correct?

Pete my thoughts exactly. I will have no issue doing the normal cleaning. Would feel more comfortable getting these things stripped down and cleaned by someone with a little more knowledge then me right now.
