as XDJohnTact said, its perfect for an occasional shooter. while I love the idea of CJ being right around the corner from my house, in reality, I have very little free time to go. Range 14 fits the bill perfectly. Its only a few minutes further down the road, and the capital (initial) investment is considerably less. Not everyone can make the mandatory new member meetings either.

I'll tell you what a guy said to me when I said that same thing while fondling a M&P that was on sale..... "that's what gun safes are for! She'll never know its there!"

Just finished mowing and had an allergy attack. Damn eyes are swollen. I will try to get the swelling down to where I can focus enough to shoot!!! Hope to see you (no pun intended) later. If not, next time.

I'll try to add pics later. 3 beagles (all rescues, the latest one we rescued on Thanksgiving Sunday off of rt 29 in Trenton) Umbrella Cockatoo Severe Macaw Green Headed Conure... Koi (too many) we rescued parrots for 10 yrs. At one time we had 14 in the house...

I asked when I was there Friday (start of sale) and they told me they had lots of inventory of the sale stuff. Hope so since i need to get back there for the M&P Sport deal!

Time taken to issue FID and/or permit. 4 months + 1 day 5. Documents required by the PD: standard apps/finger printing 6. Notes - anything pertaining to the application process. - Missing 1 ref letter at week 7. It was hand delivered 2 days later. (glad I followed up with a call or god knows how much longer I'd have waited)

I guess I can't complain at 4 months and 1 day. Happy to finally have the permits in my hands! Off to East Brunswick to pick up my M&P tomorrow!

I can stop whining now. Four months and one day. I consider myself lucky it wasn't longer. I will return Friday for 3 more p2p apps. She said the chief is pretty good granting extensions if I need it.

Voles are tough. Exclusion is the best way. We lose $$$ yearly on the damage they cause. Any new plant is put in the ground potted so the little buggers don't/can't eat the roots. That seems to help with lily bulbs etc. There are some poison baits but chance of secondary poisoning is high with our three beagles and the wandering cats so we avoid them. They like grubs so you treat for them you'll dry up their primary food source. Sadly your garden beds will become the next thing they eat. I don't sweat the lawn tunneling so much anymore. Think of it as free aeration.

guess we got some lazy chipmunks by us! Most of them that I have seen scampering about live under the shed or gazebo or hot tub . I know for certain we got voles that do lawn and garden tunnels, since I have baited and caught a few, as did the local cats..I love when they leave me half a vole to show their love...
