  1. Was shooting 1" group at 50 yards from lead sled with Winchester 180gr. fmj. with 91/30 with ler scope. Did my best to zero at 100 yards from lead sled using sardine can surplus ammo. Gruops uppened up to 6"+ . I rarely shoot at 100 yards. So is it me the ammo or both?
  2. Very pleased with my gen 4 model 17. My first Glock. I love the break like glass trigger, grip texture/angle & lightness. Also its no frills. (no unneeded buttons, latches, levers etc)

x2 Love my RIA. Check out YouTube Reviews. Everyone that has one loves it. Mine cost $545
  4. Same for for me. Just a little more than 36 hours
  5. A little while back I bought a plain Jane Savage 93G in 22 magnum. Well I liked it so much that I bought another. Only this time I went all out and got the 93BRJ in 22 magnum. Like the looks so much that I just had to have it.
  6. I have a Ruger Vaquero in 357/38. Fun to shoot. Even with .357 ammo due to weight of gun. No need for any type of recoil reducing grips. Would love to have a Uberti in 45LC but way to expensive
  7. Another for Ruger GP100. Colt revolvers are better than Rugers & S&W's but not real plentiful and kind of pricey. Have you considered SA revolver. Ruger Vaquero's come in just about any caliber you like and are way fun to shot.
  8. I have one. It's excellent. I prefer it over the Mossbergs I used to own
  9. Shot it for first time today along with my new 10/22. Love them both. Been shooting a long time but new to 22's. They sure are fun.

    CHEAP THRILLS

$100 JC Higgens bolt action 12 gauge. 4 + 1 capacity. I cut down the stock to 12” shortened barrel to 18 1/2” and added Hi-Viz snap on sight using some high heat epoxy just for added measure. Think I'm gonna have to do more of these. Old Mossberg bolt actions are also in the $100 range. But the are only 2 + 1 capacity
  11. Wife handles the money LOL. She says it's like $25 a year
  12. I have a rider on my home owners (NJ Manufactures). Did not cost much, covered for $6,000. they did not require any info on the guns.
  13. IMHO only, if you plan to shoot at 50 yards or less. all you need is a 4x32 Simmons made for 22's. If you plan to do longer distances then your going need 3-9 power rifle scope
  14. Was so happy with my Savage 64 auto loader that I decided to buy a Savage 93G bolt action in 22 magnum. Bummer is that it’s still at the store till Nic’s goes through.
  15. Did my buy at 3:30 today. Not even going to bother checking to see if it went through till Saturday.
  16. Been loyal to the same gun store for 10 years. Well things change. Completed my second buy at Arms-n-Ammo today. What a great place and nice people. A pleasure to do business with them. All my future purchases will be done there.
  17. Scored a Stag Arms lower at Arms & Ammo I’ll shop for the upper and ammo once the hysteria dies down
  18. Have reloaded 2000 rounds of handgun ammo & have plenty of 7.62x39 I was going to buy a lower this weekend but looks like I'm SOL
  19. I hate this state. I'm originally from PA. And I'm out of here when I retire. No matter what.
