Went to Dulles VA gun show last evening. Smallest crowd I'd ever seen. Tables with dozens of bricks of AE 22LR for under $30. No blowout prices yet, but I feel it may be coming. Felt like a lot of dealers who went crazy with AR lowers, ammo, etc. in anticipation of HRC are sitting on inventory now. Donald Trump may be a businessman, but he's the worst gun salesman ever

Future of air combat is unmanned and drone. F-22/F-35 are probably last generation of manned aircraft we'll see. Lots of programs currently in progress to retrofit F-16/F-15 to unmanned platforms. It will be interesting to see what air combat looks like in 2020-2025. We'll be watching Top Gun then and thinking what were we thinking.

Watching the F-22 in person is a must. It can be surreal watching it. I always try to catch the Joint Base Andrews Air Show when I can. Free to the public (you can go to a DoD only day as well if you have a DoD ID/CAC card). Bring a lawn chair and some money for beer. The Raptor is always the highlight of the show. Combine that with a visit to NRA Museum, Marine Museum, Udvar Hazy Air Space Annex, it's a good gun guy weekend in DC. http://www.jba.af.mil/About-Us/Air-Show

I don't deal with Armslist. Den of thieves. That being said, if you have any misgivings, make sure you call the guy first and have an actual voice conversation. Make friendly small talk (but probing) about the gun, who needs to bring what forms to fill out, what range he shoots at, what internet boards he's a member of, etc. Google the phone number. Makes sure his story checks out from what you can gather. You can filter out a lot of the riff raff this way. You're better off selling here, BTW where you can see the feedback (<------) of the forum member.

Yep, be careful with using angled sight pusher on straight sights. You'll end up using a mallet and marring the sights.
